It's like a highly stylized golden ax crossed with Diablo so you can loot during the side scrolling missions. Multiplayer is about dead.

This game is tremendously fun. I’ve played it several times and each time I still have a blast. There are 9 different vocations to play as and you can change them all throughout the game so as to sample each and find one you love. The graphics, while older, are perfectly fine & make the game charming. I have read some reviews saying it is glitchy but I have never had that problem. If you strike an NPC while in a city you go to jail. That is not a glitch-you are punished for hitting ppl even if it’s an accident. Try to find or make a skeleton key to get out of jail. Bitter Black Isle is a lot of fun & full of new & difficult monsters/bosses. I think it is a great addition to the base game & definitely challenging. Do yourself a favor and give this game a try. It’s worth it.
