FIFA Street 2 - Nintendo DS - Urheilu

I got this game thinking it would be fun, a street soccer game for the DS. But I was wrong. This game was without a doubt the worst game I had ever played, I was actually embarassed that I was a DS owner for a little bit. The game is very boring and repetitive and the touch screen didn't help at all. I only played this game for a short time before I quickly sold it. Please, if you want to begin a DS sports game collection, DO NOT get this game, you'll thank me for it later.

EA Big! has a great rep on producing great titles that put a fun twist on popular sports. However, in their attempt to bring soccer to the handheld, they have come up short. This version resembles FIFA Street on PSP/PS2, not FIFA Street 2 on the same systems. The controls are choppy at best. The gameplay once learned, is the only thing that saves this game. You play 3 on 3 soccer for 4 minutes total. It is extremly repetitive, and you will have to play the same team about 20 times to get to the next level. The game revolves around stylish moves, but the touch screen is no substitute for an analog stick(and is really tough to master). This game is fun enough to play, but could have been much better.

So I had been watching a lot of the FIFA World Cup and went in the store and couldn’t help but pick this title up at the price of $19.99. The game looked fun and it’s a Street game which typically makes it a bit more fun than the basic sports games. At first sight this game appeared to be better than I originally though. It’s been a while since I bought a game so the 3-d graphics on the DS looked impressive to me. And I enjoyed the sound effects because for the most part they weren’t really there, just the 9 music tracks on it. It also is a game that you can just pick up and play for a short time and then go on your merry way.

Ive only just bought a DS and had picked out some games that i knew would be ideal for me to buy, this being top of my list, and im now a little put off by the ds experience. They basis of the game is sound, create a player, create a team, select some players (low skilled can't get the best for a while), and play across the world building up a reputation GREAT. But unfortunately the graphics are way to poor, the camera angle is a little strange but you get used to it, it's immense hard to score even from 2 feet in front of goal some weird scoot direction system or just seems to tap it, plus really hard to get the players to go in the right direction. But after all that you get used to it and can be enjoyable but not for the football that's just the same old every single game but for wanting to improve you player and team.
