Evil West (PS5)

Evil West is the type game that attracts me more as I get older. I don't have 30-50 hours to play an open world game. I need a straightforward, fun, stimulating game that doesn't require any extra chores. This game is great and the story is moderately interesting. The writers left it open for a sequel so I would certainly pre-order that game. I highly recommend this game!

Evil West feels like an old-school game from about a decade or so ago, but it does it well if not better than games of that era. It has high-production values and despite some performance/resolution issues, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this is an incredibly satisfying game to play and undeniably addictive from start to finish.

Bij Focus Entertainment hebben ze een neus voor goede games. Dat bewees de uitgever recent nog met het geweldige A Plague Tale: Requiem. Nu pakt Focus uit met Evil West, een actietitel die ons meeneemt naar het Wilde Westen dat te kampen heeft met een vampierenplaag. Ik dronk een vers kopje bloed en ging op stap met twee vampierenjagers, genaamd Jesse en Edgar.

Evil West doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it doesn't have to. It's fun and a great time, which is all it needs to be. It reminds me of a wonderful B-movie; I watch it because I like to turn my brain off and just enjoy myself. Evil West is just a blast, and worth sinking your teeth into. — David Burdette

Evil West PS5 Review – Flying Wild Hogs has taken a familiar concept in vampires and combined it with a lesser-used setting of the old west to deliver a damn fun action game filled with cowboys, underground tombs, creepy swamps and deserted towns. Evil West is a pure action game that took me back to when games didn’t need to be cinematic adventures. Instead, they were just fun and easy to pick up and play.
