Bound by Flame tarjoaa mielenkiintoisen sekoituksen action-RPG-elementtejä, kuten kolme taitopuuta, valintoja seurauksineen ja valmistusjärjestelmän, mutta kärsii toistuvista taisteluista, teknisistä puutteista ja heikosta tarinasta. Peli erottuu joustavasta hahmokehityksestä ja mahdollisuudesta valita ulkonäkö ja sukupuoli, mutta lyhyt peliaika ja rajallinen vihollisvaihtelu voivat pettyttää. Sopii pelaajille, jotka pitävät buildien kokeilusta eivätkä ole liian kriittisiä tarinan tai teknisen täydellisyyden suhteen, mutta vähemmän suositeltava niille, jotka etsivät syvällistä, tasapainoista RPG-kokemusta.

This game is very good, the graphics are decent and the story is interesting. If you don't compare this game to anything you'll like it, I know I do its quite entertaining. Arrived on time too, thumbs up!

Good premise for the game but the execution was bad. The last boss is one of the cheapest boss fights I've ever in encountered in a video game. The game could've been so great if it paid a little more attention to some details. One example would be the difficulty and damage you take in, as opposed to what you deal out. A lot of fights, that would otherwise be fast fun skirmishes, are long and drawn out for no reason.

I was hesitant about how the game would run against other rpgs but the game exceeded my own expectations. Harder game than most rpgs but slightly easier than dark souls. Awesome graphics, no bugs and truly a grew game. A must but item for anyone who plays rpgs!

Didn't do it for me, I'm afraid. Repetitive, very small world of play. I tend to play the rpg games for the story rather than the hard fight gaming. The final boss (which I initially thought was the finale of the first bit of the game but turned out to be the end of the game itself), was ridiculously difficult (even in easy mode). I ended up watching the final sequence on youtube! Clumsy feel to controls and fighting. Poor/weak weaponry even at level 24. A very poor cousin to the likes of Dragonage, Kingdoms etc.
