Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 - Nintendo DS - RPG

Great game! Comes with nice graphics and pretty challenging puzzles.

I Love playing this game on the console I sold to buy it!

I like this game but don't love it. Sometimes it feels like I'm playing a pokemon game with the demon auctions and merging. The characters are alright, the story is cool. I like the battles. They are semi challenging, but then become just an easy grind. It seems when you do encounter a demon king/boss, the battles jump from possible to wtf, i need to level up more to face this. Or i need to change my strategy, almost done with the game, but I am getting lazy and bored with it. I like the strategy part, but I am not 100% into it, so i could stop and just watch the rest of the game on YouTube and be fine with it. Music is cool, but not much to it and get repetitive after a while.

While not quite the same as any other game in the MegaTen series, this game manages to hold its own as both a good TRPG and as a MegaTen game. The way battling is performed is highly reminiscent of other classic TRPGs such as Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics. The story is well put together, and with choices that contain lasting effect along with multiple endings, replayability is through the roof. If you are looking for a good tactical RPG, a fan of SMT games, or just looking for another great game to add to your collection, this is for you.
