Shenmue 1 & 2 tarjoaa ainutlaatuisen, nostalgisen avoimen maailman, jossa on paljon vapautta ja tunnelmaa, nyt HD:nä ja nopeilla latausajoilla. Taistelujärjestelmä on syvällinen ja ympäristön kanssa voi olla paljon vuorovaikutusta. Ohjaus ja kamera ovat kuitenkin vanhentuneita, tempo on hidas ja teknisiä ongelmia kuten äänivirheitä esiintyy. Modernit käytettävyysominaisuudet puuttuvat, mikä voi vaikeuttaa uusille pelaajille. Alkuperäisen fanit nauttivat, mutta uusien kannattaa huomioida nämä rajoitukset.

The games are good, but you have to be patient with the pacing, it might come off as very slow but it compensates that with an interactive setting: with places to go explore and minigames to play as well.

It's an okay series of games. The first one is a bit slower paced than the second but it'll always be my favorite game from the Dreamcast era. The second game has more action. I tried to play the third game too but it wasn't very fun (I played Shenmue III for a few hours). I may give it another chance in the future.

Great game. I never played it until I purchased this copy. I know it was even released on ps4 until I stumbled across it at GameStop.
