Tales of Arise merkitsee merkittävää evoluutiota Tales-sarjalle, henkeäsalpaavilla visualeilla Unreal Engine 4:n ansiosta ja uudistetulla taistelujärjestelmällä, joka on helposti lähestyttävä mutta strategisesti syvällinen. Peli yhdistää mukaansatempaavan tarinan vapaudesta ja sorrosta monipuolisten hahmojen ja erinomaisen ääninäyttelyn kanssa. Potentiaalisten ostajien tulisi olla tietoisia joistakin teknisistä ongelmista kuten tekstuurien pop-in PS4:llä ja ei täysin äänitetyistä dialogeista. On myös satunnaisia vaikeusastepiikkejä pommi-taisteluissa ja jotkin keskustelukohtaukset voivat hidastaa tahtia. Siitä huolimatta peli tarjoaa valtavasti sisältöä aktiviteeteilla kuten kalastus, ruoanlaitto ja kauniiden, vaihtelevien maailmojen tutkiminen. This is my first time playing a Tales game but the amount of cut scenes and dialogue is exhausting. I played for a few hours and realized it was going nowhere fast. The combat didn't stick out as anything special or unique. It might pick up later in game but it's a slow trudge to get there

Tales of Arise is an awesome rpg with simple, but rewarding combat and a fantastic story to go with it. Bosses, weapons, armor, characters and your development with each of them IN DEPTH is all amazing when it ties up in the end. A truly solid game all around.
