I certainly bought this game. It's a little slow going at first but, once you get past the beginning stuff the game is fun.

I love Rune Factory games in general, but this one was a let down. The bad: This game had a lot of tutorials for things that were completely obvious. There were no tutorials for many things that actually needed explanation. I ended up needing to consult google to figure out gameplay at some points. Also, in general, the plot was not compelling. I played through the entire game in the hopes that at some point it would get better, but it never did. Of the hours I spent playing, I was only excited about the game for a very small proportion of that time. The good: There is a shrine that tells you what each villager likes to receive as gifts, which eliminates the need to guess until you get it right. Also, the game map shows where all of the characters are at any given time, so there is no need to guess if there's someone particular you're looking for. In short, I wouldn't recommend this game.

Love the Rune Factory series games, they are awesome. Its like a rpg adventuring game that has farming and a Sims dating feel to it. You can tame monster to have on one of four islands anf they help make/farm stuff like crops to metals and gems to other things. I like the story plot even though I have not beaten the game yet I am playing non-stop to do so. So if anyone is thinking about buying this game please do and give it a chance. Its like harvest moon games or the newer story of seasons, and the creators of story of seasons made rune factory series.
