Metroid: Samus Returns 3DS:lle on onnistunut uusintaversio modernilla ohjauksella, 3D-grafiikalla ja monilla uusilla kyvyillä. 360° tähtäys ja lähitaistelu tekevät pelattavuudesta sujuvampaa ja haastavampaa. Ympäristöt ovat tunnelmallisia, ja kartta- sekä teleporttitoiminnot vähentävät turhauttavaa backtrackingiä. Toistuvat minipomotaistelut ja joidenkin mielestä liian helpot checkpointit ja latausasemat laskevat jännitystä. Ohjaus voi myös tuntua epämukavalta pitkissä pelisessioissa. Kokonaisuutena vahva, moderni Metroid-kokemus pienin puuttein.

I was a fan of the series since 1986, played all of them, except for other M and FF, and this one is my favorite. Tight controls, great visuals and best boss fights in the series.

While this Metroid game opts for a brighter color palette than others, it's a beautiful remake of the original release with added combat mechanics. There are added battle cutscenes, but they're not nearly as long as the ones Nintendo added in Pokemon Sun & Moon, so they don't take away from the gameplay. New and longtime fans will appreciate this addition to the series. The game case arrived in perfect condition with no blemishes, rips or dents, and it was sealed in plastic. (This was removed for the photos, as I had already opened the case so I could play the game.) I haven't completed this game yet, so I may come back and revise this review to reflect how I feel when it's finished, but I've given it a 5 star review upon my initial reaction and the condition that the game arrived in.

Does not use the d-pad ! It uses the crazy swivel button . Would have been an awesome game if it weren't for the movement. Graphics is 5 out of 5. But the game sucks because of the swivel button, so why bother?

As much as I'm happy to have this, I'm a little annoyed that there were others similar to this with a lower and more reasonable price.

Great game with an awesome soundtrack CD. Be sure to request a box when you order, USPS crushed the first copy sent in a padded envelope but I was able to send it back and receive a new box-packed copy at no additional cost.
