Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster on klassinen JRPG, jossa on syvä taistelujärjestelmä ja monia ammatteja tutkittavaksi. Peli näyttää upealta Switch 2:lla, etenkin taustat, mutta hahmomallit ovat hieman vanhentuneet. Tarina on vahva, mutta tahti hidastuu toisella puoliskolla toistojen ja pakollisen grindauksen vuoksi. Uudet minipelit ja elämänlaatuparannukset ovat kivoja, mutta eivät tuo paljoa lisää vanhoille pelaajille. Uusille pelaajille tämä on ehdottomasti suositeltava; niille, jotka tuntevat jo 3DS-version, päivitys on rajallinen.

Falsely advertised. The game sent was “technically” correct, but i was given a Canadian version of the game. Currently there are two separate physical listings up on amazon and this one clearly displayed the U.S. version while the other listing shows the CAD one. I went out of my way to get the U.S. version specially for the cover so this was obviously disappointing. I’m not sure if all the 3rd party sellers just sell different versions that work on NA 3ds consoles; by hiding behind the stock image of the U.S. version for price point and sales? But based on my experience and other reviewers I have to lean towards that line of thinking. This was a New copy and Prime purchase as well, so if you’re serious about your physical purchases then be EXTREMELY cautious before taking a chance on this one. (But I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re fine with separately searching for and purchasing an authentic U.S. game case as a replacement on eBay or a local game shop.)

The game itself is amazing and worth 5 stars BUT although the copy I ordered was new and sealed it was the Canadian version which has a French logo on the box art. It's not a huge deal but when you are already paying a premium for a new physical copy that is out of print it does irk me a little. The game defaulted to English when I inserted the game for the first time so if it wasn't for the box art you would never know it was multi language. The cartridge as well has the US sticker on it. Now that I am back in the Nintendo gaming realm again I will just have to buy a physical copy on release day :)

Game comes with a courious black sticker on the cover page, when removed i found that it was a Malaysia-Arabia version, it works on my USA 3DS, but it would have been nice to know that this was not the USA version form the beginning....

I don't want to gush, but this game is probably one of the best RPGs of all time. It's surprisingly deep, looks amazing, has amazing game play, and some of the best music of any game I have ever played.
