Fire Emblem Engage (Switch)

Awesome improvements in graphics, good maps, overall a fun game to play. I personally thought the storyline was a bit lacking, and I miss the level character development that was introduced in 3 Houses.

I pre-ordered fire emblem engage, and played it near release date. I've played multiple games in the fire emblem series including Fates, Three Houses, Shadows of Valentia, Awakening and more. Strengths: - Great Graphics and Art - A good representative of other Fire emblem games - A really good strategy game for beginners, where you can select the difficulty you want to play at Weaknesses: - Decent Story. You are able to tell what characters are going to die, and the story is very predictable at times. However some scenes are still really well done. - Somniel minigames are alright at best, and cna be boring. Overall, if you are looking for an introduction to fire emblem, this game is great. If you are into strategy this game is great. The only big downside in my opinion is the story, which isn't too bad.

When gameplay is what matters. Little filler. I've loved Fire Emblem for years. Nostalgic and new combined for an awesome RTS game.

Got the Divine edition, and I don't regret it one bit! The gameplay is fun, characters are silly and likeable, and even though the story is short, there's tons to do such as exploring the Somniel, fighting in the arena, talking to allies, playing with the rings and even feeding your pet! Definitely recommend!

I cringed the whole time I was playing. The story and characters just ooze with cheesiness and full of anime tropes, that made it very difficult to get through I didn’t care if any my units died bc there was no connection. it was hard gettin through this weak story , seeing your main character cry for everything, weeb knights and memba berries up the wazoo. I skipped everything I could. That said the graphics and gameplay are great but beware my warning. Unless you’re into that stuff of course no judgment but idk I miss the old fire emblems vibes
