Tomodachi Life tarjoaa viehättävän ja humoristisen kokemuksen lyhyisiin pelisessioihin, mutta siitä puuttuu syvyyttä pitkäaikaiseen pelaamiseen. Peli loistaa ainutlaatuisessa konseptissaan, jossa pelaajat luovat Mii-hahmoja ja seuraavat heidän päivittäisiä vuorovaikutuksiaan värikkäällä saarella. Laajat personointivaihtoehdot äänelle, persoonallisuudelle ja ulkonäölle tarjoavat paljon vaihtelua. Kuitenkin 20-30 tunnin pelaamisen jälkeen samat pyynnöt ja dialogit toistuvat, mikä tekee pelistä ennustettavan. Minipelit ovat liian yksinkertaisia ja robottimaiset äänet voivat ärsyttää. Peliltä puuttuu selkeä lopputavoite, mikä on turhauttavaa joillekin, vaikka juuri tämä vapaus muodostaa myös sen viehätyksen. Ihanteellinen rennon pelaamisen ystäville ja nuoremmille pelaajille, jotka nauttivat luovista simulaatioista Nintendon tyypillisellä huumorilla, mutta vähemmän sopiva niille, jotka etsivät syvällistä pelattavuutta.

My daughter ordered this after asking permission. Unfortunately, I hadn't realized that it was a "digital" purchase and that you have to have a Nintendo account and and wasn't an actual game that she could play on her Nintendo DS gaming system so we haven't been able to get it working yet on our laptop. Tried to cancel it as soon as I noticed it was a "digital" purchase (a half an hour after it was purchased), but there isn't an option to do so.

Its a cute game. You make your Mii people. Feed them, clothe them, give them new apartment looks. But it gets boring a lot faster than i thought.

Bought this game a few days ago and I am completely addicted. I love it and it’s so fun and entertaining. My husband thinks it’s funny too because I made him as a person on the game as well.

My kids, 12 and 9, love this game! I'm impressed with how detailed it is and how many things they can do with it. As for any in-depth commentary, I can't provide that... but if you have kids in that age range, they'll probably love it!

My son wanted this game for his birthday. He loves it, he tells me daily about the lives of his little Mii people. He really enjoys what they do, and the mini games. Kind of like the sims for the 3ds.
