WarioWare: Move It!

WarioWare: Move It! captures all the fun quirkiness that fans of the franchise have come to know and love while boasting some surprisingly engaging motion controls.

Everything about Move It! feels like it should work, and when it does it’s a lot of fun. The problem is that doesn't always work. Some rotten apples in the microgame selection and the Joy-Con hardware's awkward fit with the overall concept muddy up an otherwise good time. Given the discombobulating nature of WarioWare, some muddying can be acceptable up to a point, but Move It! occasionally crosses the line from being playfully antagonistic to frustrating for the wrong reasons. — Jack Zustiak

Anyone looking for a classic battle of fun and humiliation will have a blast with WarioWare: Move It. It has some of the strangest combinations of minigames and methods of how to use your Joy-Cons, which WarioWare has always been at its strongest when it pushes the scope of how to use our controllers. I cannot wait to see what madness Wario comes up with next!

Cubed3 Rating WarioWare: Move It! is a return to form for the barmy microgame curator Wario. With his group of familiar friends, odd concepts and motion controls, it's back to basics! There are some slight teething issues with motion controls, but one that may come with practice. A whole host of fun microgames, multiplayer modes and new ideas build on what's made the series a hit with fans. Those who shy away from motion controls would likely prefer Get it Together! , also on Nintendo Switch, instead. Fans of that classic WarioWare feel will be right at home with WarioWare: Move It! !
