Harvest Moon - Light of Hope

I found it to be a fun and simple game. Though it's very easy to finish the game there's a lot left to do and I find that to be a reason to keep playing it.

Entertaining and difficult at times. Would be easier if it wasn’t so difficult to earn money for crop sales to progress the story

Love this game I grew up on Harvest moon games for the DS LIGHT

I tried really hard to like this one. I thought the characters looked better than Pioneers of Olive Town, and after I had a great time with that game I decided to give harvest moon a go. Overall there's just very little to like here--the bulk of satisfying progression from a farming sim is pretty much completely stripped away. Your farm is tiny and boring and you don't have meaningful progression in terms of stats to level up. The game pretty much boils down to a walking/fetch quest simulator with farming on the side (and the farming consists of mashing "A" in the designated spots). The game content ranges between total hand-holding and explaining absolutely nothing, which is frustrating and boring. Do yourself a favor and pick up any of the Story of Seasons games instead.

This is a fun game but the lack of direction for a new player is frustrating. The in-game days really move too fast. Overall though, this is a good game.
