Honestly such a shame the late great Kobe Bryant is on this cover. Probably once of the worst games from pretty much every concept. Shame on whomever created this one. Save your money

Some parts of this game have impressed, like just how many players and teams are available (I am coming from 2k22), and the animations are nice. However, the game still has issues with realism, notably almost no turnovers and extremely low three point volume and percentage. I have played about a dozen games so far, neither the cpu or myself have shot better than 35% from three or had double digit turnovers in a game, which makes fastbreaks rare. Additionally, passing into the paint is extremely easy, particularly for the cpu, meaning simply running the pick and roll every possession is the best strategy, since the defense will not compensate, and even if you compensate, stealing passes from players with good pass ratings is always very unlikely. Get it at a deep discount, put it down when it inevitably annoys you.
