Natural Doctrine on taktinen roolipeli, joka tunnetaan äärimmäisestä vaikeustasostaan ja syvistä strategisista järjestelmistään. Peli tarjoaa ainutlaatuisen yhdistelmän yksin- ja moninpeliä sekä cross-play- ja cross-save-ominaisuudet PlayStation-alustoilla. Pelaajat arvostavat pelin syvyyttä, mutta monet pitävät käyttöliittymää sekavana ja esitystä keskinkertaisena. Vaikka päivitys toi helpomman tilan, peli on silti hyvin haastava, mikä karkottaa monia pelaajia. Verkkoyhteisö on pieni, joten moninpeli on vähemmän saavutettavissa. Peli sopii parhaiten kokeneille strategisteille, jotka etsivät todellista haastetta.

Now this game is what i was looking for, but not only that the battle system was awesome and the gameplay was great! Clearly this game ain't like your averages Strategy games, this is a hardcore strategy that every moves counts it kills or be killed!

Difficult enough however frustrating. We all know it's hard but dying mid battle over and over with nothing to show for it is annoying.
