Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth yhdistää Personan ja Etrian Odysseyn vahvuudet ainutlaatuiseksi dungeon crawleriksi, jossa on strategisia taisteluita, huumoria ja paljon fanipalvelua. Peli erottuu kauniista grafiikastaan, hauskoista hahmovuorovaikutuksista ja haastavista labyrinteistä, mutta siitä puuttuu pääsarjan syvä tarina ja sosiaaliset elementit. Labyrintit voivat tuntua toistuvilta, ja vaikeustaso voi vaihdella. Persona-faneille se on hauska crossover, mutta syvällistä tarinaa etsivät voivat pettyä. Karttojen piirtotoiminto ja mukautusmahdollisuudet tekevät tutkimisesta kuitenkin miellyttävää.

My son is a big gamer. He loves Persona5, this game is not very popular in the States, but its huge in Japan. Perfect gift for gamer. The graphics are excellent.

I loved that the characters from all the most popular installments of the series came together for entertaining shenanigans, but the gameplay was absolutely tedious and about halfway through I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.

I recently became a Persona fan thanks to Persona 5 and so I decided to look back on some of the older games, including this one. I am really enjoying the game even if it does not follow in any way the original format of the older games, it is more Etrian Odyssey focuses for gameplay, and I would still recommend it for fans of the series! Here is my only concern with this game: it starts pretty damn hard on normal difficulty, and I am aware that Persona games are not the easiest, but dear god, one of my allies died in the first battle of the game! It definitely puts you on your toes but then it gets back to being fair, so don't let this make you give up. Other than the difficulty and some annoying parts here and there (which is why I took out a star) I'd say you will have a good time with this game definitely.

I bought this game to round out my growing Persona/SMT collection. I do understand that this is a spin-off/fanservice game, but the characters were boiled down to one or two basic tropes, the cheesy dialogue never stops and the gameplay is super tedious. Drawing the map simply is. Not. Fun. Game is fun to play in short bursts, but exhausting to play for extended periods of time.
