RPG Maker MV sopii aloittelijoille, jotka haluavat tehdä oman RPG:n ilman ohjelmointia. Ohjelmisto on erittäin helppokäyttöinen ja sisältää paljon graafisia resursseja, joten alkuun pääsee nopeasti. Pelejä voi helposti jakaa ja pelata muiden kanssa. Mahdollisuudet ovat kuitenkin rajallisemmat kuin ammattimoottoreissa, ja suuret projektit voivat hidastaa suorituskykyä. Lisäsisältö on usein maksullista, joten tuote sopii parhaiten harrastajille ja aloitteleville kehittäjille.

I only have a few negatives, and they're not even enough to dock a star. One - you can only submit one game, but I understand that keeps the submissions from being flooded. Two - all the voice acting is done in Japanese, but heck there's actually voice acting, and that really adds something special to battles and scenes! Three - I wish the controls were such that I didn't have to go back and undo things I tapped on by accident/redo things I accidentally cancelled out of. But I'm getting the hang of it. You'll get more function out of an RPG maker for PC, true, but I wanted it for the PS4 and I am not disappointed! One thing though - I hope they release a lot more monster sprites in future DLC, as personally I find a lot of them to be too risque or cringy to be useful. But that's kinda to be expected in a Japanese game. It's awesome to get to create your own game, and I'm looking forward to uploading one soon.

It's a lot to learn but once you do it is worth it just to make your own RPG. There are many great tools to make that happen and I recommend watching tutorials. I also like the fact that you can download games that others have created and upload your own.

Got the game through PSN and was super excited to use it to get a game out there. It is basically a broken useless hybrid of MV and MZ that You are NOT able to upload your creations on. Do NOT buy. Waste of money.

The Idea of this game unique, and I can see updates making it so much better. U can create your own game, anything you can think of. I remade the PS4 Silent Hills teaser game, retro style. Once you figure out how to add warp points to maps, u can do a whole lot of things. I have 32 bit Norman Reedus wondering down a creepy hall to the garage door, but when you step through, your back in that first little room. Cheezy but funny you can do dumb little scenarios. I am also recreating Zelda 1 for my own entertainment, and it actually looks like it too. Invest some time and you could have serious fun
