Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure on yksinkertainen 3D-tasohyppely, joka sopii erityisesti nuorille lapsille ja perheille. Ohjaus on helppo oppia ja tunnelma on tuttu Ice Age -elokuvien faneille. Pelissä on hauskoja kerättäviä esineitä ja se sopii hyvin yhdessä pelattavaksi. Vaikeustaso on kuitenkin hyvin matala, joten aikuiset eivät löydä paljon haastetta. Kameran ohjaus on usein turhauttavaa ja peliaika on lyhyt suhteessa hintaan. Pelissä on myös vähän vaihtelua, mikä tekee siitä vähemmän houkuttelevan kokeneille pelaajille.

The game was a repetitive mess. Nothing about it was entertaining or well made. It was advised as a 3D platformer and it doesn't even function as that. You fight the same enemies over and over again, and Scratt's attacks have so little reach that you have to basically run into the enemies to register a hit. Not that I would know if I hit them, there is no indication of a successful hit. Just keep mashing the attack button until everything is dead. I was so bored I gave up 2 hours in. I tried to return the game, but Gamestop wouldn't let me...and I wasn't even allowed to trade it in for anything either. I haven't been to game stop in some time, and now I think I'll just stop going all together.
