Elden Ring Nightreign (PS5)

Elden Ring Nightreign won’t be for everyone. Mixing up the Souls formula this way will divide opinion, but I personally enjoyed them taking a risk with it. It works well if you end up with others who know what they are doing and as long as you all communicate well, you’ll have a great experience. If not, it can be a little awkward. Still, a great spin-off in the world of Elden Ring.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a standalone multiplayer co-op action survival game that challenges players to band together in order to defeat the Nightlord.

It feels like you're being forced to learn on someone else's schedule, and while that works for a little while, eventually you want them to get on with the lesson and deliver some excellent boss fights without the long, repetitive road beforehand.
