I like that it arrived quickly... But the game itself sucks

very good game for young ones, i bought it for my 8 year old and he loves it as does my 11 yr old. i enjoyed the game play and originality of it, not boring, wish you could do a little more with the overal interactive part, but still good

Although the game is certainly a not a AAA title, it's certainly fun, specially if you're a fan of the OverLord franchise!

If you're looking for a casual game... you're better off getting a Wii and playing Overlord Legends. Overlord minions is really a decidedly arduous game of patience, and persistence. Don't know at what point in the game development they decided to make it a NDS game, but you can tell it was most likely simply tacked on somewhere toward the end of the game development. That said, what is otherwise a game with similar humor to the aforementioned Legends, is bogged down with finicky pointer controls at the best of times. It should be noted that having a NDSxl does make a world of difference in reducing frustration due to said controls. The smaller screens of older or smaller models apparently hold the key to why the controls are so finicky; hence why its obvious that changing Overlord Minions into a DS game was likely late in the development of the game.
