Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force on merkittävä parannus alkuperäiseen PS3-julkaisuun verrattuna, tarjoten kolme haarautuvaa tarinakulkua erilaisilla lopuilla sen mukaan, herätetäänkö Jumalatar, Vile God vai Evil Goddess. Taistelujärjestelmä on syvä ja strateginen, sisältäen vuoropohjaiset taistelut jopa kuuden ryhmän jäsenen kanssa, Fairize-muutokset ja ainutlaatuiset World Shaping -mekaniikkat, joiden avulla voit mukauttaa luolaston vaikeusastetta. Peli kamppailee kuitenkin tahditus-ongelmien kanssa—ensimmäinen näytös on toistuva ja kaavamainen, vaatien kärsivällisyyttä ennen kuin tarina muuttuu mukaansatempaavaksi. Taistelujärjestelmä, vaikka se on ominaisuusrikas combo-ketjuilla, Avalanche-hyökkäyksillä ja osien tuhoamisella, tuntuu usein tarpeettoman monimutkaiselta, koska useimmat taistelut voidaan voittaa perushyökkäyksillä ja taioilla. Visuaalisesti pelissä on houkuttelevaa anime-estetiikkaa, mutta se kärsii matalaresoluutioisista ympäristöistä ja inspiroitumattomista luolasto-ulkoasuista. Musiikki on huomattavan heikkoa, ja jotkut kappaleet ovat erityisen ärsyttäviä. Laaja hahmon mukauttaminen WP-pisteiden ja Fury-aseiden kautta tarjoaa syvyyttä, mutta voi tuntua työllistämistoimenpiteeltä. Ostajien tulisi odottaa pitkää RPG:tä, joka palkitsee sitoutumisen useiden läpipelausten aikana, mutta voi turhautua niitä, jotka etsivät välitöntä sitoutumista tai virtaviivaisia mekaniikkoita.

Great cast of characters, complete with three different paths throughout the game, customizable fairies that can be built to your liking and preferences, cool soundtrack with good voice acting (eng and Japanese) and tons of replay value from hidden bosses to new difficulties (very hard, very easy) to look forward to!

Honestly I love this game so far its kind of a mixture of legend of dragoon with breath of fire & thank fully it's a turn base RPG. the story line is decent so far but the comical clips in the game are hilarious which their are quite a few I honestly hope the company puts out another game like this I would buy it day one.
