Helldivers 2

Helldivers II is simple alien bug-killing fun. There’s no other way to say it. It may have server issues sporadically at the moment, but it’ll pass. In the meantime, if you can get in, then dive in!

While Helldivers 2 may look like a tropey action game on the surface, what lies underneath is one of the most fun co-op shooters I’ve played in recent memory. Als ik dan toch in de hel moet duiken, dan neem ik liefst wat van m’n vrienden mee. Er zijn héél wat planeten om te bevrijden van moordlustige aliens & robots in Helldivers 2. Deze co-op shooter lijkt op korte tijd héél wat gamers te overtuigen van z’n sterke punten. Hoe fijn is het om Super Earth te beschermen tegen het krapuul van het universum?

With nearly a decade sitting between the release of the first Helldivers in 2015 and Helldivers 2 in 2024, you would be forgiven for thinking that the gulf of time that has passed in the interim would have resulted in Arrowhead Studios Helldiver sequel manifesting itself substantially different from its PS4 (and PS Vita) bound predecessor. Thankfully – and this should prove as sweet relief to anybody lucky enough to play the first Helldivers – Helldivers 2 is practically the same game from a design perspective. That said, developer Arrowhead Studios has made some fairly substantial changes elsewhere in Helldivers 2, for both better and worse, that help to meaningfully separate it from its predecessor.
