Alien Isolation PS3:lla tarjoaa erittäin intensiivisen ja pelottavan kokemuksen, erityisesti älykkään ja arvaamattoman Alien-tekoälyn ansiosta. Tunnelma ja tarina ovat vahvoja, mutta pelaajien täytyy usein piilotella pitkään, mikä voi käydä toistuvaksi. PS3-versiossa grafiikka ja suorituskyky ovat selvästi heikompia kuin uudemmilla konsoleilla. Ammusten valmistuksen puute ja niukat resurssit tekevät pelistä erityisen haastavan. Jotkut pelin osiot ovat epäoikeudenmukaisen vaikeita skriptien tai tekoälyn vuoksi, mikä voi aiheuttaa turhautumista. Kauhupelien ja Alien-universumin faneille peli on suositeltava, mutta odota kovaa ja ajoittain turhauttavaa haastetta.

Had high hopes for this game, but...not very good, way to slow of a pace, the makers of Resident Evil should do the Alien games, I think that would be much more enjoyable.

Scary, but I loved it. I wish they would make a sequel. Some people have said it's too long but I don't think so. It was great value for money.
