Rambo The Video Game seuraa kolmea alkuperäistä elokuvaa ja tarjoaa tunnistettavia kohtauksia ja toimintaa, mikä miellyttää faneja. Perk-järjestelmä ja Wrath Mode tuovat hieman vaihtelua, mutta pelattavuus pysyy pinnallisena ja toistuvana. Grafiikka on heikkoa, animaatiot ja äänet keskinkertaisia. Ohjaus toimii usein pelaajaa vastaan ja on-rails-malli rajoittaa vapautta. Kampanja on lyhyt eikä anna syytä pelata uudelleen. Arvostelut ovat yksimielisesti negatiivisia teknisestä laadusta ja syvyyden puutteesta, vaikka jotkut fanit nauttivat elokuvien uudelleenelämisestä.

I put in this disk.I got my ps3 sharp shooter.I turned my surround sound up.I turned the lights off and I went to war.I've been having flashbacks ever since.Just kidding.It's like the movie Rambo.Scary and bloody.

Overall, it was an enjoyable game. The graphics were good and they used actual audio from the movies as well as the music. I was hoping for a more open world, but the "rail shooter" style gave the game an arcade feel which was kind of cool and made it unique from other games.

It's an older game to be fair. I just am not a fan of the games that aren't sand box in nature. Going from scene to scene and just shooting things in a pre-destined path gets boring. I will be selling this game... not a worthy purchase but I didn't do my research.
