Funny game with a lot of different mechanics, each one matching the alternative worlds. The humor is written very similarly to the cartoon itself. The picture is bright and pleasing to the eye, and overall, it's a good sequel if you want more fun after SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom

If you want BFBB without any form of padding in the form of needing a certain amount of collectibles to progress, this is what you are looking for. Furthermore, this game has the better and more creative worlds. The only thing it is missing is more playable charachters since this essentially merges all abilities into just spongebob.

Spongebob accidentally broke the fabric of reality ! A good reason to let us go through multiple cheerful environments. The graphics are great, very colorful and very well done. Each level brings with it a new mechanic and a new type of ennemy to defeat. This and how different the environments are, help to make each level feel fresh. I didn't really notice the music at all, so I can't say if it's any good. I wouldn't say it is as good as the first one, but maybe I'm biased. For a fun, charming and quick-ish experience, I would recommend this game; but only on sale.

If you're a SpongeBob fan and/or enjoyed Battle for Bikini Bottom this is the game for you. Purple Lamp builds on their remake with an original 3D platforming adventure. The Cosmic Shake lacks much of the polish you'd find in its contemporaries (Mario Odyssey, Crash Bandicoot 4), but the foundation here is solid enough. The developers opt for fewer, but deeper levels compared to Battle for Bikini Bottom, which gives stages a higher and more consistent quality. The writing is quite good as well; the main story might be simple but the jokes are very well done, and the game even imitates the gross-up close-ups found in the cartoon. Overall, it's a good time for SpongeBob fans, but if you don't have much attatchment to the series or previous SpongeBob platformers you may come away less impressed than I did.

Pros: Fun and enjoyable even for adults. Cons: 1. No Sony gamepad supports, only 3rd party software to make game "think" that it's an xbox gamepad. Horrible to see this in 2023 games 2. Zero configurations in this game. Can't adjust graphics, can't adjust sensivity of gamepad, can't remap, can't do almost anything that is a STANDART in any games settings. 3. Gamepads unresponsive during rides, have to tilt it for a few more seconds (another lack of sensivity setting?) 4. Linear gameplay. Absolutely no free gaming here, everything where you want to go outside these "corridors" are blocked or Patrick will return you to the "path". 5. Ugly 3D art-style, though learning tips are drawn in great style as a tv-series. Why not make a decent and recognizable characters appearance instead of horrible 3D..?
