Assassin's Creed: Syndicate saa usein kiitosta kauniista ja yksityiskohtaisesta viktoriaanisen Lontoon kuvauksesta sekä mahdollisuudesta pelata kahdella eri päähahmolla. Hiiviskelyelementit ja tehtävärakenne ovat vahvoja, ja varusteet kuten köysiheitin tuovat vaihtelua. Tarina ja hahmot koetaan kuitenkin pinnallisiksi, ja monet sivutehtävät tuntuvat toistuvilta. Ohjaus voi ajoittain turhauttaa, erityisesti freerunissa, ja pelaajat raportoivat satunnaisista bugeista ja teknisistä ongelmista. Sarjan faneille peli tarjoaa paljon pelattavaa, mutta suuria uudistuksia tai syvällistä tarinaa ei kannata odottaa.

Very well rounded Assassin's Creed that doesn't get talked about often. It rewards you for both styles of wanting to play, being brute or stealth. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars, is because of the leveling up system. While it is completely easy to do so, I just felt like it was a bit unnecessary. However, you can easily tell that this was Ubisoft letting you know the direction they wanted to go in for Origins & onward.
