I have played this game a few times at my friends and found it very fun.

Compared to Arc System's history of lacklustre Guilty Gear updates, Continuum Shift feels like a genuinely worthy sequel that would've been just that bit better with a couple more characters on the disk. So if you already own Calamity Trigger then whether or not this is a must buy boils down to how much you love BlazBlue, but if you know the difference between a Rapid Cancel and a Distortion Drive, then chances are you know the answer already. But for those gamers who remain BlazBlue-curious, just think of Continuum Shift as a fast paced 2D fighter that's overflowing with innovation and mechanical depth.

my daughter and i enjoy playing this game and its counterpart. great fun it lacks some of the moves available in the other game, but that may be because i haven't played it enough to figure out the button combinations.

I've always heard that BlazBlue games are awesome, so perhaps you can understand if I feel somewhat disappointed after playing BlazBlue: Continuum Shift . Though most critics seem to agree that the game belongs somewhere in either the "Very Good" or the "Super Fantastic" camp, I personally found the whole affair underwhelming. That reaction left me asking what I consider the obvious question: what is it that leaves me reluctant to continue playing a game that so many others obviously enjoy?
