I purchased this as a cycling watch for the maps and such. It's definitely a learning curve, and I'd be lying if I said I haven't considered returning it. I wish Garmin had starter videos because I have so many questions and have nowhere to go.

I received my watch the first week of July and have been having trouble with the display. Spoke with a garmin reps who has eventually agreed to replace it with the caveat that the replacement may also have problems since it is a software problem.

Honestly I was skeptical of the price and the flashlight feature, however there is not a single day where I regret my purchase. The flashlight is extremely useful, the watch is lightweight, and has great battery life. Also, although I work in pretty rough conditions and have banged my watch on all sorts of stuff there is not a single scratch. I honestly can’t even believe how quality the glass is.

I ran 18 miles this morning and my watch is just jumped from a 72hr recovery time to 0hrs and in the training readiness metric it just jumped from 16 to 51. Playing music and accurately giving hr data and gps data is great for a $200 watch. But the the features that push this ones price point glitch frequently. I has a 945 before, it had less issues. I regret this purchase and would advise against it.

This watch is absolutely immense. It’s easy to use clear screen. Keeping in mind that I had a forerunner 55 and then up jumped up to a 970 this watch is The only thing I will say is the strap is a little bit uncomfortable for me, but other than that that’s just a change
