Haittapuolia ovat heikompi suorituskyky syvässä mudassa verrattuna aggressiivisempiin kuvioihin sekä vaihtelevat kokemukset kulutuskestävyydestä – osa saavuttaa korkean kilometrimäärän, osa näkee nopeampaa kulumista raskaassa ja kuumassa käytössä. Hinta on myös monia vaihtoehtoja korkeampi. Rengas sopii parhaiten sekakäyttöön, jossa kestävyys ja mukavuus ovat tärkeämpiä kuin äärimmäinen muta-ajokyky.

For the past ten years or so, it seems to me that Good Year has been orienting its Wrangler All-Terrain range more towards on-road use than on track or, moreover, off-road. The advantage is comfort and safety on tar; the downside is the relative lack of grip in deep snow or mud. New, they have a crossing capacity that their worn predecessors had at 50%! But I make special use of my vehicle (25% off piste). Good Year products are of high quality, but this supplier should not only sell "road" tires.
