Michelin Pilot Sport 4 koossa 245/40R18 XL 97Y on puhdas suorituskykyinen kesärengas. Kuljettajat ja testit korostavat poikkeuksellista pitoa ja lyhyitä jarrutusmatkoja kuivalla sekä erittäin hyvää märkäpitoa ja vakautta, mikä lisää luottamusta suuremmissa nopeuksissa ja kaarteissa. Ohjaus reagoi terävästi ja tarkasti, joten rengas on suosittu urheilullisessa ajossa ja satunnaisilla ratapäivillä. Samalla monet kokevat sen yllättävän mukavaksi ja melko hiljaiseksi UHP-renkaaksi, ja kesto voi olla hyvä, jos ajo ei ole jatkuvasti maksimaalisen kovaa. Heikkoutena on, että rengasta ei ole tarkoitettu kylmiin oloihin tai lumeen; alhaisissa lämpötiloissa pito heikkenee selvästi ja talvikäyttöä ei suositella. Joillakin käyttäjillä kuluminen on nopeaa raskaissa tai tehokkaissa autoissa, ja ostohinta on korkeampi kuin monilla muilla sporttisilla kesärenkailla. Jäykkä rakenne välittää myös tien epätasaisuudet ja saumat selvemmin. Pilot Sport 4 sopii parhaiten kuljettajille, jotka haluavat maksimaalisen kuivan ja märän kelin suorituskyvyn lämpimään kauteen ja ovat valmiita maksamaan enemmän ja käyttämään erillisiä talvirenkaita.

Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
