Maybelline Tattoo Liner Smokey Gel Pencil, Black

I have the navy and onyx eyeliners. These are the best things ever. The other reviews are ENTIRELY user error. It’s so easy to sharpen, so soft and creamy to put on, and doesn’t budge throughout the day. Only slightly bad thing is that it doesn’t last 36 hours… but who needs it for 36 hours…? The only time it really smudges is when I wear it overnight. Obviously nothing is without flaws but this is pretty darn close to perfect, especially considering the price being so budget friendly. excuse the crap photo I added, had to take it quickly.

Product good but unable to sharpen so had a about a weeks worth of use before it was un useable so a complete waste of money!

Bought this a few months ago. Used a new sharpener, the plastic is too hard, the blade can’t grip it. Bought another. Same problem. Used a new Exacto (!) knife and it budged the plastic but left dangerous sharp spikes too. No EXCUSE a for this terrible product. Zero stars.

It says on Amazon that the tip is retractable. So I thought my first one was broken and binned it. Ordered another. Then discovered Amazon were wrong and it is NOT retractable. Tried to sharpen the new one this morning as advised, with a high quality sharpener and ended up with a horrible mess. Beyond annoyed. I see this has been an issue for at least two years! Why hasn’t Maybelline addressed it??

I love this liner. It goes on smoothly, gives the perfect lines and last all day.
