The shoe was painful at the arch. I could not wear them.

Attractive- I really wanted to like these. Shoe is deep enough to hold orthotic, but overall the material is very plastic-like, extremely rigid. I just do not think they would ever become more flexible- I think they would crack/break before softening. The toe box seems slightly narrower than most ASICS. The arch support is mediocre. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and 8.5 were the right size. The sole is not padded and very hard, stiff.

Good grip, good feel, comfortable and light. But not the best for jumping. Sole is about 1-1/2 inches.

This is the first truly negative experience I've had with high level ASICS shoe, and I've gone through many over the years with racquetball & squash. I've had these shoes for 3 weeks and they seem to have a design flaw that makes them relatively useless. Where the rubber sole meets the plastic StableTruss at a narrow point, the rubber is breaking away with lateral movement torque. It seems to be a weak point on the shoe that needs to be addressed.

Very comfortable and feel supportive on the ankles! I needed no break-in period and was able to wear them for the first time at a tournament with no pain/cramping. I play both pin and libero and these are versatile to fit both positions.
