The Asus ROG Strix Go 2.4 is one of the most attractive and convenient headsets out there, but lacklustre audio sullies the deal.

these headphones have a decent sound and are super comfortable. they are not bulky, which work great for smaller folk like me. the detachable mic, at times, feels like it will just fall out, but it hasn't so it's probably just my paranoid self. there is a hidden mic which can be a pain if you're gaming with others in the room, as it picks them up talking. the mic sound i've been is very crisp, but "P" and "T" sounds are a bit exaggerated, nothing a $2 slip on foam piece won't solve. overall, i've come from HyperX Cloud Stinger and Turtle Beach Atlas 1's, to settle for these, very happily.

The Asus ROG Strix Go 2.4 are some of the most versatile cans out there. With three different connectivity options, two mics and robust software for tweaking already-immersive audio, this gaming headset can handle it all. But its wireless dongle might end up covering nearby ports.

The ASUS ROG Strix GO 2.4 wireless headset was first announced towards the end of last year, and it was also shown off at CES 2020. We've been using the headset over the last couple of weeks and can now present our full review… can AI make this the perfect travel-oriented gaming headset?
