I work as a customer service representative, and I couldn't stand the headset that my work supplies for us. Technically the ones they provide are excellent, but I have really sensitive earlobes and can't wear headsets that sit on my ears. I tried numerous headsets, and in the end I just ended up using another pair of shokz that I had. Unfortunately they were for running, so even though they were comfortable, the mic wasn't that great, and my callers struggled to hear me well. Eventually I bit the bullet and decided to invest in a pair of these Opencomms, and it's like night and day! I get the comfort that I love from Shokz, but with a dedicated microphone that has vastly improved my call quality. My calls are crisp and clear, and I've had no issues so far. I do wish that they were usb-c instead of a proprietary charger, but it's not a dealbreaker. The battery easily lasts through my full 8 hour shifts of constant calls, and still usually has says it has medium battery life at the end.

The quality is outstanding, and the battery life is impressive. A significant improvement over the previous model.

I work in high noises location, close to heavy machinery. Aftershokz + earplugs are amazing to clearly hear, even more so than regular earbuds and the microphone quality is amazing. I can be less than 5 feets in 90+db and calls are still crystal clear on both ends. My only complaint is that the microphone is a bit flimsy, not sure how long it will last.

The voice that was transmitted to the other side was very noisy and continuously cut off. I returned that.

I had the other version, without an extended microphone and I had trouble being heard and understood. No problems with this one!
