Sweet Protection Looper MIPS TE on vapaalaskuun ja all-mountain-käyttöön suunniteltu kypärä, joka hyödyntää monia huippumallien tekniikoita, kuten Mipsiä ja in-mold Impact Shields -ratkaisua parempaan suojaan kovissa ja vinossa tulevissa iskuissa. Kypärä tunnetaan melko kevyestä rakenteestaan, pehmeästä sisävuoristaan ja käytännöllisestä säätörullasta, jonka avulla istuvuutta on helppo mukauttaa erilaisille päänmuodoille. Kiinteät tuuletusaukot ja integroidut lasikanavat tarjoavat hyvän ilmankierron ja auttavat pitämään laskettelulasit mahdollisimman huurtumattomina, vaikka tuuletusta ei voikaan täysin sulkea erittäin kylmissä olosuhteissa. Irrotettavat, audio-valmiit korvatyynyt tekevät audiosarjan lisäämisestä helppoa, mutta nämä moduulit eivät sisälly vakiopakettiin. Selkeä muotoilu, vahvat suojaominaisuudet ja painotus parkki- ja all-mountain-ajoon tekevät mallista houkuttelevan vaihtoehdon kokeneemmille laskijoille, vaikka hinta on korkeampi kuin perusmalleissa ilman Mipsiä ja avoin class B -rakenne tarjoaa vähemmän täydellistä korvien ja leuan suojaa kuin full-shell-kypärät.

This is the best "entry-level" helmet I've ever used. This helmet is comfortable, lightweight, and the vents offer a nice mix between warmth and breathability. The back-band tightening mechanism is easy to adjust and sets this helmet apart from its competitors in the "entry-level" space.

This and previous model of Looper helmets are just odd in their fitment - never had any brand fit like this. I'm in the XL and chart states my head is at the lower-end of the range (as expected, should be plenty of adjustment available) but even one or two clicks of the boa system tightened makes it feel far too tight at the sides and (oddly) top of the helmet. It feels like there's a flat spot rather than a dome shape at the top of the helmet. Tried various fit-pads included for both this model and non-MIPS Looper but nothing worked. Apparently my head doesn't work with the Sweet Protection human head schematic which is strange. Can't imagine I'm the only one (Smith, Giro, Arai, Cannondale, Glade, etc never had an issue like this with). Too bad because it's good looking, lightweight and decent feature-set. Hope it works for your head!

We love Sweet Protection. Note they run a little smaller than other brands so we get a little bigger size.
