Overall, I really like this machine. This is certainly not a professional ice cream maker, which churns more quickly, resulting in smaller ice crystals and soft, creamy ice cream. I have made ice cream many times since purchasing it and have learned tips and tricks to make the ice cream more creamy. It is very easy to use and easy to clean. The bowl, which must be frozen before use, can only be used once before being frozen again to make another batch. The recipe book that it comes with is very helpful.

The machine is compact enough that I can store it in a large kitchen drawer. When in use, it’s not as loud as other ice cream machines tend to be. I keep the cylinder in a drawer in the back of the freezer, and so I try to keep it as cold as possible. I have made chocolate ice cream in 10 minutes, and one without eggs in about 30. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I couldn't ask for more with the purchase of the pure indulgence 2 quart frozen yogurt- sorbet & ice cream maker. The freeze bowl is very big and it takes up alot real state in the freezer also. When I say it makes wonderful ice cream (so far). If you have a deep freezer this more ideal. If this is going to be your first ice cream maker, you will not be disappointed.
