Hoka One One M Speedgoat 7 Black/White - 40

Feels slightly smaller than my other Hokas. I'm still debating returning and going up a size. I suspect the difference is the lack of give in the material covering the toes. Still far too early to give any review on performance

The Hoka speed goat is a great trail shoe this is my second pair of speed goats

Try to six version is tight and a cushioning was not quite as nice as I’d like. Tried on the seven doesn’t fit his tight better fit. The cushioning is much better. Still a snug shoe as it is supposed to be waterproof but seems a great improvement over the six.

I want to love these shoes that recommended by ChatGPT. I love the vibrant color, the cushion and the traction, BUT I was limping down the last several miles of my almost 18 mile Half Dome hike because the right toe area of the shoe was cutting into my toe, the bending part when you left your foot to step forward. Good thing that I bought an extra pair of hiking shoes for my trip to wear for the rest of the hikes. I'd like to return them and maybe buy a different pair, and hope the problem is with that pair I bought only.

Have used these for 30 days...a bit noisy breaking the shoe in, yet that has disappeared. Comfortable out of the box.
