The rubber on the sides are peeling off from the fabric. The sole lost its traction within 6mo! Disappointed for $175.00. I’ve only used it for trail walking 12 mi/week.

My shoe size has increased a lot due to orthotics, but I got a pair of these in a size 10.5 in a different color elsewhere in June and wore them comfortably to backpack the Santa Fe to Taos Thru-Hike in July. My only complaint was that the tongue is a little too short, as are the laces, since I do heel-lock lacing, but by jamming my fingers in to pull the tongue as far up as it would go and tying tiny bows, the shoes worked well. So I bought another pair in pink, on sale from REI in a 10.5 and have only worn them in the house because they were too big for my orthotics, truly monstrous. Now I bought a size 10 in pink, and they fit my orthotics, though the tongue and laces are if anything shorter. So I'll return the 10.5s and wear the 10s, but it's really weird that the sizes are so different between different colors of the same shoes.

I have used Hokas for over 20 years and have never had a pair fail so quickly! I hope this is a one off issue.

The HOKA women’s stinson 7 trail are great shoes for walking or easy hikes . I like the way they are balanced and sturdy . The cushion in these shoes is just enough to be comfortable but not to heavy . The color is good for off trail and dirt paths . Important for me is the type of shoe strings that come with these shoes they STAY tied . Great all around shoe .

I got these for a Camino trip. Used them for about 70 miles over a few months during training. Noticed the seam started separating. I was so surprised. Brought them back to REI, got several other options to test but none of them worked so I got these again hoping the first pair was a fluke. Took them on my Camino trip and although the shoes feel great, and I didn’t get any pain or blisters, the same exact thing started happening at around the same mileage so I’m bringing them back again. Too bad because my feet are happy in these.
