I've gone through 2 of the Babila machines and then upgraded to this when they were no longer available. So this machine is fighting with my nostalgia, and doing a great job. The drip tray volume is a minor issue, but not terrible. The bean hopper seems bigger. The water tank seems bigger. The programmability is crazy compared to the previous machine. We've run around 100-shots through it, so nowhere near the 25k through my two older machines. I love the capabilities of it. I've programmed in my "Part 1" and "Part 2" coffee - a custom cappuccino followed by a custom espresso. My wife and kids are trying to get theirs going as well. So far, all is well.

It’s almost perfect. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and looks great in the kitchen. My only complaint is that it doesn’t quite get hot enough. Might not be an issue for most people, but I like my Americano piping hot. Otherwise I love this machine.

I purchased this as a gift for my sons family and they just love it. However it my third super automatic machine I purchased from whole latte love and the only place to get the outstanding service our machine is going on 8 years after using our sons I think we need to upgrade his is amazing to use.

I love my new Gaggia Accademia. It does take some time for it to calibrate itself and once it gets there it's great. It is also fun to try out new drinks and it is so quick and easy. I love being able to tweak my drink and then saving that tweak! It was a little intimidating at first with the maintenance, but one you do it a few times its really easy.
