Was using a Manfrotto tripod before buying this monopod. Was looking for versatile support for long lens. Tried this one. Even if it's not carbon fiber, it's lighter than what I had previously. Still have it has the usage is different but it's really easier for quick picture setup. #canadianuserreview

Use this monopod with a Canon 5D MK lll with 70-200mm lenses and it works excellent!
