Was my first purchase from B&H Photo and was very pleased to get exactly what I needed very quickly. Will remember B&H for future photo accessories.

The new one is a replacement for the one that originally came with the camera. The design of the tensioners that hold the cap onto the lens is very fragile, and one of the arms snapped off my original. We shall see about this one. It seems to have the same design as the old one...

I bought this for another Sony 49mm camera and it works perfectly. I always seem to lose lens caps while on vacation. This was good reasonably priced replacement.

...that has ever broken on me...all those tiny plastic arms on the inside of the cap WILL break eventually from the constant tension being applied to them in order to make the two outer tabs spring in and out to hold the cap in place on the lens....plus, it has always been a chore to get it to attach itself to the lens, and the small size makes it almost a sure bet that the cap goes shooting off into space when it releases from the lens. I find it inordinately difficult to manipulate this lens cap.
