I ordered 256MB Transcend and was promptly shipped and got it delivered to my door step within 48hrs. Is my fastest shipment since i have been ordering online. 256MB Transcend worked perfectly well in my Leica Total station instruments. I must order again. The Company is well organized and keep to their promises.

I feel I get the most bang for my buck with this CF card. I own several by Transcend and never have any issues.

I'm going to used this on very old equipment that only support 512MB hard drives and less. I got a cable converter as well so I can plug the PATA cable. The testing I have done so far with a old 486 computer has it running faster than the equipment can take it. The cable converter I got does have a voltage setting on it so you can select 3.3V or 5V. I did some research and it proably should be set to 5V on the old equipment. The newer computers running UDMA, I would set to 3.3V. I have had it on a Pentium III computer as well as the 486.

I know transcend gets some flack for being the lower man on the totem pole, but i have not noticed a difference between my new Transcend CF cards and my Sand Disk or Lexar Cards. I am tempted to say that my Transcend cards are faster!
