Olen käyttänyt tätä kaukoputkea tähän mennessä vain kuun tutkimiseen ja en ole pettynyt optiikan tarjoamaan kuvanlaatuun.Tämä kaukoputki onkin mielestäni ihan laadukas tähtitaivaan tutkimisesta kiinnostuneelle, mutta liika muovisuus mm. peilien kiinnityksessä, tarkentimessa ja jalustassa häiritsee. Mukana tuleva käyttöohje tarjoaa selkeät ohjeet putken valmisteluun ja jalustan kasaamiseen. Okulaarit eivät ole laadukkaat, mutta niillä pääsee alkuun. 2x barlow on hyvä lisä. Punapiste-etsin on ihan toimiva. Ehkäpä heikoin lenkki on jalusta, vaikka onkin melko tukeva. Akseleiden kiristysruuveja on vaikea saada riittävän kireälle, jolloin putki menettää suuntauksen helposti. Suosittelen jo heti alussa opettelemaan kollimoinnin tekemisen, koska kalibroidulla putkella näet kohteet tarkemmin

This is my second telescope after been given a 760/700 reflector scope for my birthday this year. Having squeezed as much as I could from my first telescope, I felt it was time to upgrade. I am new to telescopes and stargazing, but have always had a keen interest, and after some intensive research, I thought that this was a great solution as a second telescope. The one thing I had slight difficulty with was balancing the weight distribution on the equatorial mount. But with a little patience, I eventually managed to balance it. Having alway had an interest in astronomy, this is a brilliant and cost effective telescope for the next steps into my passion for astronomy. I will definitely be buying from these guys again, as the whole process was seamless!

I tried to return this item after discovering that the laser guide at the top doesn't fit - so you cannot use it. Contacted amazon 9 times as their Hermes courier refused to take it as it's so heavy. Had to ask American express to step in as Amazon service for returning this product is shameful. Product is average quality, lens will break easily for young children aged 9 to 12. Very difficult to guide and line up for young children. The laser guide will only work with a DIY solution like blu-tac! Can't return!
