I was going to buy other remotes but something told me just order this one. I got the batteries in place. Turned the tv on, turned the tv off. Back on and it auto configured. chefs kiss. bought a 2 pk as well for my other tv as well.

This is an exact replacement for the original. Works great.

I ordered this to replace my original remote, which started eating batteries every few days and which LG could not replace. But they did send me a link for this model here, and it is listed as the exact same model number. It is NOT, although it looks identical. But it works perfectly, even pairing instantly with my DVR just as the original did. Only four stars, though, because the differing model numbers gave me a few moments of unease. The product description should clarify this.

Bought this to replace the remote that came with my tv. It is exactly the same. (Except this one works!)

The wheel has a issue with breaking, this is the second one with one already in the trash. Push on the wheel easy to make them last.
