These are a wonderful pair of binoculars - In most situations I can use them without having to lean on a post, but sometimes it helps to steady the view owing to the magnification power. The viewing quality is stunningly good - they cost a lot of money, but life is too short to miss out on wonderful sights that are enhanced in all their beauty by seeing them as well as you possibly can, so the cost is worth it in my opinion. A lifetime purchase for me and I am very happy with them indeed!
