Before I buy a product like this I look at the reviews of similar products and judge the best one to go with. Vortex scored high with 4-5 stars throughout their entire product range. These binos are at the lower end of the product range but are superb value. The 10 x 28 has a slightly larger end element than most compacts with good magnification. Optics are clear and bright, focus is crisp and they are small enough to take out on a walk. The lifetime guarantee is a extra bonus. We love them.

For the price, these binoculars can't be topped. I was shocked at how clear they are with no distortions at all. The focus operates smooth and stays put. The Vortex warranty makes buying their products a no brainer. Excellent pair of bino's

This is the newest 2016 revised model of the Vortex Diamondback 10x28 model DB-201. What a super pair of compact binoculars. Was looking for a pair which would be easy to carry but still have decent optics. The 28 mm objective lens are not designed for low light use but they still do a pretty good job given their size. I have optics which cost far greater and do look a little more crisp but for the money, these can't be beat. Great to keep in the truck, boat or UTV for that occasional need to glass the terrain. Two thumbs up !!!

Very well built, superb optics for the price point. Not too large as to make them a burden to carry. Good for the causal user to view distant objects when traveling or watching nature. Would be perfect to leave in a car or cabin/camper. Vortex hit a home run with these binoculars at this price. A real bargain to say the least.
