Free Roam -tila näyttää hyvältä, mutta monet kokevat maailman tyhjäksi ja palkinnot, kuten tarrat, heikosti motivoiviksi. 24 kuljettajan vuoksi kisat voivat tuntua hyvin kaoottisilta ja tuuripohjaisilta, mikä voi turhauttaa kilpailuhenkisiä pelaajia. Myös uudistettu Grand Prix -rakenne, jossa ajetaan pitkiä siirtymiä ratojen välillä, jakaa mielipiteitä. Osa pelaajista joutuu totuttelemaan uusiin hyppy- ja grindimekaniikkoihin ja kokee verkkosijoitusjärjestelmän huonosti palkitsevaksi. Paketti sopii parhaiten, jos etsit Switch 2:ta ja haluat pelata Mario Kartia ennen kaikkea hupimielessä, paikallisesti ja nauttia uudesta Knockout-tilasta, etkä niinkään etsi tiukan kilpailullista seuraajaa Mario Kart 8 Deluxelle.

I sold my PS5 and bought this. Hear me out. Gaming has peaked and everything now is about graphics. I bought the Switch 2 as a first time Nintendo user and it’s the best console I’ve used. It’s more convenient to just pick up your controller and use it, unlike having to power up a console and wait for loading times. It is easier to play even for a few minutes and go back to something else. The hardware seems very plasticky especially the joycons. It seems Nintendo pushes you to upgrade to their accessories or maybe I’m just use to the good hardware on the PS. I ordered the pro controller because the joy-cons even with the grip feels cheap and uncomfortable.

Very fun console and the ability to seamlessly switch from handheld to docked is highly convenient , but it's pricy. Definitely a huge improvement over Switch 1 and Oled, even better as an introduction to Nintendo gaming.

Pidän erityisesti siitä, että konsoli yhdistää vanhan ja uuden. Tutut pelisarjat näyttävät paremmilta kuin koskaan, mutta niissä on edelleen sama tunnelma, joka teki niistä niin erityisiä lapsuudessani. Jokainen pelikerta tuntuu hieman matkalta menneisyyteen, mutta samalla kyseessä on selvästi nykyaikainen pelikokemus.

Great console but has a blury screen that you get use to after some time and a surprisingly weak battery, around 2 to 3 hours playing a demanding game where the my oled switch 1 would get almost double that.
