Amazing! I took one of the SSD's from my PC and inserted it into this enclosure and it worked immediately. Hazel-free

I had a couple of old 500GB hard drives that I'd removed from previous laptops. Since I've gotten into photography I've been looking to come up with a good (and inexpensive) backup solution. The Transcend StoreJet 25S3 had good reviews so I decided to try it. I was pleased with the build quality of the enclosure as well as the cord that came in the package. I had 180GB of photos that I backed up and the enclosure did not seem to get too warm. My only frustration: No mention in the quick start guide as to how to actually open the enclosure to get my hard drive in! (I ended up removing the two screws on the end where the cord connects.) Other than that, I've been very pleased and plan on getting another one for my second hard drive.

Compact enclosure, a 9 mm hard drive fits perfectly (which is good since that means it won't move in the case, preventing damage if it falls).

Would recommenced to anyone. After using cheap enclosures from a popular auction site, this one out does them all!
