I bought this printer in November 2023 to save money and instead, it is costing me money. It takes forever to get ready to print. It is making all kinds of noises. It seems to get hot quickly and burns toner on the printouts. I waste a lot of paper and toner. I really regret paying a small fortune for this machine. I had the old HP CP5225n, and it was great. It just stopped working is why I bought this one.

Arrived broken in multiple places. I'm still waiting on a refund a week later.

Does not work well with WIN 11. Multiple clicks needed to get to one click features found in WIN 8. Needs new driver for WIN 11 (current HP universal software doesn't cut it). One weird feature is the bypass tray, which picks paper top to bottom, so if you use it to print checks they are in reverse order. Have had it for 12 months now.

I have had this printer since the pandemic, Fall 2020, almost 2 years and so far really happy with it. It was easy for me to set up on the Mac. We have an ethernet cable plugged into the wifi box and that makes it wireless for the studio. The print quality is great and it works consistently for us for what we do (printing out drafts of photo books). One drawback it has though, it's speed, a 300 page book takes hours to print. It's slow. But then again, the convenience of having this done in-house weighs out having to go to the copy shop to print drafts, which we have done previously. So far nothing else to complain. I have it on a cool looking dolly with rolls, rolling it in and out from under a desk, it's huge but so is the capability to print 11x17 pages.

Other than the fact it is extremely heavy, this one could not print. Every attempt was a paper jam. Yes, the paper was seated properly. Just a dud, didn't bother getting another like it. Opted for a plotter, HP T630, for less $.
